Cost optimization and a newand effective way of using AWJ nozzles

This article introduces results of a new study of the cost optimization of Abrasive Waterjet (AWJ) Cutting systems. In the study, the effects of many cutting process parameters on the cost optimization were investigated. The influence of many other factors was also taken into account. With “optimal diameter”, a new and effective way of using AWJ nozzles was proposed.
