Studying for extraction and isolation of natural coloring from peristrophe bivalves

The purple coloring substance is widely applied to color products of pharmacy, cosmetics, foodstuff etc. However, the extraction of this substance from plant original is not really understood in our country. This article presents a study on the process of extracting purple dye from leaves of purple Peristrophe bivalves (Cam tim), which was perfectly done in laboratory.
The results showed that the dye obtained from leaves 14.45 times greater than from the stem. The material to extract the dye is obtained from fresh leaves extracted pigment efficiency almost two times higher than extracts from dried leaves. Conditions extraction process has been using the method of solvent extraction in hot H2O, maintained at 85-90oC in 60 minutes time will be 1.94 times higher extraction efficiency was compared with sample extraction methods conventional plant cold extraction solvent is EtOH.
