Study the ionic conducting property of LiCoO2 positive electrode

The compound of LiCoO2 has been successfully prepared by using the solid state reaction method from the precursors of Li2CO3 and CoCO3 at 8000C in 12 hours. The structural properties were studied by X-ray diffraction and the ionic conducting property was examined by chemical impedance spectroscopy (CIS) technique in 1M LiClO4 + PC electrolyte. The analyzed results show that the prepared sample has high-single phase of LiCoO2 with layers structure and the inonic conductivity is about 0,5.10-4 S.cm-1
