Replacing objects with time delay by appropriate models

In many different industries such as engineering, military, transport etc, it is common to see the control objects with time - delay. When designing controllers, the linear first order object with time – delay can be approximated by two first order objects. This approximation leads to large error if the time – delay (t) is considerable compared to constant time (T). This paper proposes another method of replacement for objects with time delay and the selection of appropriate approximation type basing on the relationship between (t) and (T). The simulation results prove the preciseness of the proposed algorithm and model. This promises the ability to apply in practice.
