This paper describes the design of a robust current controller for doubly-fed induction machines (DFIM), in which the rotor angular speed is considered as an uncertain parameter. The robust controller is then synthesized to guarantee that the -norm of the closed-loop system is smaller than some given number for different frozen values of . Next, the robust performance of the robust controller with respect to other rotor angular speeds is investigated for both constant and fast parameter variations. Some simulation results are given to demonstrate the performance and robustness of the control algorithm.
