Gear-Chain-Bar compound mechanism (BCBCM) is an intermittent trasmission and first proposed and studied whose advantage consists in an adjustable stoping position and time. In this paper, simulation method is used to obtain a complete kinematical investigation and optimal kinematical design of the mechanism.
