Calculation of total transmission ratio of two step worm reducers for the best reasonable gearbox housing structure

This article presents a new and useful method for calculation of the total transmission ratio of two step worm reducers for th best reasonable gearbox housing structure. In this paper basing on the moment equilibrium condition of mechanic system including the two units and their regular resistance condition, an effective models for splitting of the total ratio of two step worm reducers was found. By giving explicit models, the transmission ratio of two step can be calculated fast and effectively.
